Think of them as “secret” ways in which you can receive additional discounts on your order. They can be anything from a code that will save you on a new notebook to an internet coupon that can save you on a digital camera.

So, where can you find HP coupon codes? There are a few sites and blogs that offer them, although not all of them are equal. Make sure you get them at a site that updates the listings frequently with correct details. Sometimes the link will be provided for you to be click on so that you can be taken to the order form. The HP coupon codes should automatically show up if the link is working right. Other times you may have to copy and paste the code manually when you order.

If you get a message telling you that the codes are invalid, then your purchase may already consist of discounts and savings. Some coupons can’t be used with other savings and some can. If you can use them in addition to other discounts, the deal is referred to as “stackable”. Some even have expiration dates, which is why you need to make sure that you get them from a site that is updated regularly.

HDTV Black Friday Deals

The hottest TV’s this holiday season are LCD and LED. Manufactures like Sony and Samsung have options to fit any household. Sony’s Bravia series has flat screen LCD TV’s from 26″ through to 70″. Sony also has released their Motionflow 240hz refresh rate system further improving on their 120hz system.

Black Friday TV Deals
The stores offering the best Black Friday deals are Walmart and Target. They have sales on TV’s in the 30″ to 40″ range from prices as low as $246 at Target and $248 at Walmart. Looking around online there are also many coupon deals out there offering $75 off HDTV’s at major retail outlets.

LED
In my opinion the coolest new product of the year though is the ultra thin LED TV’s from Samsung and Sony. These TV’s are very thin at only 1.2 inches thick they are very sleek and look great. While the picture quality isn’t quite as good as the older LCD TV’s they do produce relatively deep black levels, accurate color, very good dejudder processing, and are extremely energy efficient.

Where the LED TV’s come up a bit short is in the price department as they are quite expensive.

Black Friday 2009 Netbooks Deals – What To Expect

I for one am looking to buy a new mini laptop computer by the end of this year, as I gave up my laptop for a more powerful desktop and now lack a portable computer that I could easily carry around with me when needed. And since I need autonomy and not necessarily power and special features, I’m probably going towards a new netbook, perhaps one of those 11.6 inchers, as I consider those offer a good deals between size, weight and ergonomics (as in: they are not so small so you can’t comfortably work with them for at lest a couple of hours).

I’ve been monitoring the market the last months, and with Windows 7 to launch later this month, I’m looking forward for some new announcements on interesting devices from October 22nd. And I’m pretty sure most of them will get cheaper as the winter sales period comes closer, as this always happened before.

I remember that last year on Black Friday I was able to spot some good HP and Toshiba laptops for half their retail price (around $400, with a $850 retail price). These devices only lasted in stock for a couple of hours as people roamed to buy them.

Anyway, last year during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, netbooks were not at all as popular as they are right now. That’s why people weren’t so interested in buying these mini laptops, but I’m confident a lot will change this year.

However, there’s one problem: netbooks already are cheap, most producers claim that they’ve already as cheap as they can be and their profits margins are extremely low for devices in this class. I do agree with that, but also I’m pretty sure we will see some price cuts on most devices this year, during Black Friday sales 2009 day. They won’t be that big, probably around 50 to 100 bucks for the more expensive versions, but still, any bucks saved is good.

Also, I’m pretty sure some of the best netbooks will be part of some interesting bundles that will attract many shoppers. Bundles like a mini laptop, a case, one extra GB of RAM, a sleeve, a mouse and an external DVD drive, for around $450 . You would already need those accessories, so buying them together with a price cut will surely be appealing. At least for me it is.

Anyway, we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’m pretty confident there will be some good bargains for mini netbook computers later this year, on late November (Black Friday) and the next couple of weeks, until Christmas.
